Our client, a New York City healthcare system with value-based system serving a diverse patient base, is inviting consideration of this unique opportunity.
The Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Specimen Testing, Quality Control, and Proficiency Testing
- Reporting and Documentation of Results
- Adherence to Safety Protocols and related duties outlined in the Laboratory SOP
This position reports to the AVP, Support Services/Operations and Chief of Pathology.
Experience and Certifications:
At least 3-5 years’ previous experience in a Clinical Laboratory Operations, Instrumentation, Polices, Procedures, Practices and Point of Care Testing.
NYS CLIA.
All Clinical Laboratory Supervisors working in Pathology/Laboratory must have a current NYS DOE license on-file and a competency assessment signed off by the Department Supervisor or Designee.
